For more than 40 years, Morton Plant Mease Health Care Foundation has provided philanthropic support to the not-for-profit hospitals of Morton Plant Mease Health Care, including Morton Plant, Clearwater; Mease Countryside, Safety Harbor; Mease Dunedin and Morton Plant North Bay, New Port Richey. The close connection between the hospitals of Morton Plant Mease and their neighbors reveal a unique spirit of giving – a relationship characterized by people caring for the hospitals that care for them.

Morton Plant Hospital
Founded in 1916, Morton Plant Hospital was the first hospital built in northern Pinellas County. Over a century later, Morton Plant Hospital is a nationally recognized 613-bed facility providing highly technical and specialized care to more than 50,000 patients annually and working in more than 50 specialty areas. The recently opened Doyle Tower represents our longstanding commitment to serving health care needs within our community. The new patient tower includes an additional main entrance and the relocations of surgery, an additional main entrance and the relocations of surgery, women's care and orthopedics to better meet the needs of the future.

Mease Dunedin Hospital
Established in 1937, Mease Dunedin Hospital is a 120-bed facility committed to improving the health of everyone it serves. The facility is undergoing a $19-million multi-phase expansion renovating 33,000-square-feet of the hospital's main building and adding 4,000-square-feet of new construction. This latest expansion project included a new Critical Care Unit, the new surgical center with four operating suites, an endoscopy suite, pre-operative holding unit, post-anesthesia care unit that provides functionality, accessibility and peace of mind for patients, visitors, and staff.

Mease Countryside Hospital
For more than 25 years, Mease Countryside Hospital has been raising the standard of care for patients of all ages. Today, our 311-bed facility offers an unwavering commitment to the community. Designated as one of Thomson Reuters 100 Top U.S. Hospitals in 2012, our award-winning facility features multiple Centers of Excellence, including women and children's services, heart, cancer, neurosciences and orthopedics. In addition, we have achieved re-certification as a Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission.

Morton Plant North Bay Hospital is West Pasco County’s only not-for-profit community hospital. Since 1999, we have invested more than $100 million to expand and develop programs, services and technologies. Nationally recognized for health care excellence, we've achieved Primary Stroke Center recertification by The Joint Commission, meaning our stroke care protocols meet the standards of the country's best programs.

Our commitment to improving the health of our community goes beyond the four walls of our new buildings; we have also expanded key services to provide the latest care for you and your family.
